Finding a Pixelmator Pro crash report

This article explains how to find a Pixelmator Pro crash report.

Step 1
Open Spotlight.

To open Spotlight, click the magnifying glass icon in the upper-right corner of the menu bar, or press Command-Space from any app.‚Äč




Step 2
Find the Console.

After opening Spotlight, type the word 'Console' and press the Return key.




Step 3
Find a crash report.

On the left side of the Console window, click to choose the User Reports category. A Pixelmator Pro crash will start with the words 'Pixelmator Pro'. Click to select it.




Step 4
Drag the crash report into your Downloads or Documents folder.

Drag the crash report from the Console window and into your Downloads or Documents folder in the Dock. If there is more than one Pixelmator Pro crash report, you can drag them out one by one.


Step 5
Attach the crash report to your response.

Once you have a crash report on the Desktop, attach it to your email to us along with any other relevant information, such as your system specs.
